Usually a worn carriage or coupler, both carried on the truck and replaced the same visit. If a spring is broken, that is the real cause and it gets fixed first.
The red light on my Genie sensor is blinking. What does it mean?
The Safe-T-Beam is blocked or misaligned. Realignment or a new sensor fixes it the same visit.
Can you set up Aladdin Connect on my phone?
Yes, on current models, and we can add a retrofit kit to many older Genie openers.
My Genie remote stopped working after a power outage. Why?
Intellicode units sometimes lose their programming on a power event. Reprogramming takes a few minutes.
My Genie died after a storm. Fixable?
Usually. The logic board is replaceable on most Genie units, and we can add surge protection.
